What does the C5 vaccine include?

  • C3 vaccination:

    • parvovirus,

    • distemper and

    • hepatitis.

  • CC vaccination:

    • canine cough (AKA Kennel cough), including; Bordetella bronchiseptica and Parainfluenza virus).

  • C5 vaccination: Is a combination of C3 + CC and is the minimum requirement for most boarding kennels.

    • We strongly recommend a C5 vaccination for all dogs due to the frequency that we see dogs with canine cough in this area.

How often does dog, need to be vaccinated for C5?

  • After 3rd puppy booster annually

  • C5 Need to be done every year

How is the C5 virus transmitted between dogs?

  • Can be spread airborne, it’s a vaccine for various disease

  • Vaccine protects your dog against it, so if other dogs have that disease your dog won’t get it.

My dog will go to the dog day care, is there any other vaccine he needs?

  • Worming, intestinal every 3 months,

  • Flea and tick,
